Many times we have good intentions of changing bad habits, unhealthy relationships, and wrong mindsets- but we try to do it without God. Change can only come by the Holy Spirit. There must be surrendering to God, and putting down your will to live out God’s purpose for your life. God loves you, God loves us. This renewal is part of healing. Here, the perceptions and expectations of love are discussed. In exploring this, questions arise of how love is viewed by many and what God says about love. Although love is discussed throughout the Holy Bible, the scriptures from I John 4, were highlighted here. It would be beneficial to read the full chapter to get a more in-depth about love. Many times we will not start a task because we think we are not good enough. We look at our past and what we lack, striving for perfection. However, Perfection is only in Christ, for this is our strength.

Pride comes before a fall the subject matter that this episode discusses.
